At Momentum Early Learning, we understand that the most critical period for brain development is in the first few years of life. During this time, brain cells, called neurons, begin to connect to form a useful brain. The development of these connections, called synapses, is primarily formed by experiences and settings. It is essential to provide young infants and children with experiences that stimulate the development of these synapses. These connections influence the child's intellectual capacity, language, memory and lifelong skills.
