2 Year Olds
By 2, friendships begin to form and children become Lively Learners. As they start to understand how to be part of a group, teachers accommodate their cognitive, social/emotional, and physical needs by offering new challenges and stimulating their minds with daily projects to help creativity evolve.

Teacher Biography
Educational Qualifications:
- Attended UW Whitewater – Elementary Education for 2 years.
Certifications: Shaken Baby, SIDS, CPR, AED & Child Abuse and Neglect Training, ECI, ECII, Infant Care and CDA (Child Development Associate).
Experience working with children: I owned my own daycare in my home for nine (9) years. I taught pre-school and other ages for eight (8) years and taught Sunday school for two (2) years.
What do you like about the age group you are working with?
I enjoy working with the two’s because they love to learn lots of new things and I can help them start to mold their minds to a world of education.
Why are you working here at Momentum?
I love working with children and Momentum gives me the opportunity to use my experience teaching children.
Outside Interests:
- I like to cook – baking especially
- I like to read
- I love spending time with my family

Teacher Biography
Educational Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from WCTC.
Certifications: Shaken Baby, SIDS, CPR, AED & Child Abuse and Neglect Training
Experience working with children: I have taught children for ten (10) years in child care ages infant – school age. Five (5) of those years were teaching preschool ages 2 ½ – 5.
What do you like about the age group you are working with?
Their potential to learn. They are sponges and have the ability to do so much more than what most people believe they can do.
Why are you working here at Momentum?
It’s a center a cut above the rest with a great learning environment for children and a focus on families.
