Before and After School Care

Now in school, children of different ages progress their social/emotional, cognitive, and physical skills at different rates. Our teachers challenge these children with a wide assortment of age-appropriate art, math, writing, library, computer, and science/sensory exercises and activities, while inspiring various independence and self-help skills. Children are allowed more “freedom” within the classroom, as we encourage them to become the best Junior Leaders we know they can be.

Momentum Early Learning understands that not all families are looking for full time or even part time child care needs.  We know that many families with school age children are looking for that added assistance and comfort knowing their children are in the right place before school and after school.

We offer both programs to assist families whose work schedules may slightly conflict with the schools starting and ending schedules.  Learn more about our before and after school program by calling our center today.

Teacher Biography

Educational Qualifications:

  • Currently completing Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Elementary Education with focus on Early Childhood & Adaptive Education.

Certifications:  Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention, CPR, AED & First Aid.

Experience working with children: I have several years of experience working with children birth to three’s. Most of my experience comes from working with summer cap and before & after school care. I also worked as a Nursery attendant at First Methodish Church.

What do you like about the age group you are working with?

I like to se how they begin coming more independent.  I also really enjoy seeing how the children develop through their speech as we as their movements.  Children make me laugh!

Why are you working here at Momentum?

I am hoping to gain more experience with some age groups I am not familiar with.  I also want to apply what I am currently studying in school.

Outside Interests:

  • Sports: watching and playing.
  • I am a big fan of the Brewers and my favorite player for the Packers is #85 Jennings.
  • I love music, movies and haunted houses.
