When you walk through the doors of Camp Velocity you will experience a whole new kind of fun. From creepy science projects to exciting day trips, Camp Velocity has something for everyone! With our brand new, state-of-the-art facility, each classroom is equipped with a secure webcam for parents to check in on their kids throughout the day.
At Camp Velocity, kids will have lots of fun while making lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. With trips to the water park, sports, horseback riding, Retzner Nature Center and Hoffer’s Pet Store, Camp Velocity will keep kids on the move, safe while having a blast all summer long!

Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication
Certifications: ECI, ECII, Shaken Baby, SIDS, CPR, AED & Child Abuse and Neglect Training
Experience working with children: I have experience with every age group and have been working with kids for years.
What do you like about the age group you are working with?
School age children are fun because they allow me to facilitate creativity while I get to be a kid again.

Teacher Biography
Educational Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Elementary Education from UW-Milwaukee
- Received his Master’s in Education from Lakeland College.
Certifications: CPR, AED & Child Abuse and Neglect Training
Experience working with children: I have had the wonderful opportunity to student teach in eight different Milwaukee public schools. I have taught 1st , 5th , 7th and 8th grade for the past 9 years. I volunteered to coach the 4th and 5th grade boys basketball team. Each year I take 65 middle school students up north to the YMCA Camp Matawa in Campbellsport, WI.
What do you like about the age group you are working with?
I love working with school-age children. Most of my students would fall in the 1st – 3rd grade level. I love how truthful and honest they are. I also love how the students work well together and are quick to help each other out.
Why are you working here at Momentum?
I was looking to work with a great group of children this summer at an outstanding facility. Momentum has both. This establishment goes above and beyone what each child needs to learn in a fun and safe manner.
Outside Interests:
- When I’m not working with students, I spend a lot of my time in the music industry. I have worked for The Toys, milwaukee based band for the past 11 years.
- I enjoy playing keyboards and guitar.
- I also enjoy fishing and golfing in my free time.
