Each year at our Sussex Campus, we partner with Sussex Outreach Services to sponsor local families that are experiencing financial hardships to help make their holiday special. We knew when we expanded to Germantown we wanted to keep that tradition alive.
Our Germantown Campus has partnered with The Gingerbread House Gift Giving Program. This program is organized by The Youth and Family Project, Inc out of West Bend, WI. The Youth and Family Project, Inc is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 and services both Waukesha and Washington Counties.
The Gingerbread House Gift Giving Program aids in helping over 500 families experience a Christmas they wouldn’t be able to have on their own. Momentum Early Learning’s Germantown Campus is supporting two of those over 500 families this year. The two families that are being supported are single mothers with younger children, working multiple jobs. These families are looking for some household items, a few small gifts for themselves and gifts for their children so they can experience the magic of the holiday.
Our ‘Giving Tree,’ located just outside the office, has both green and red paper ‘ornaments’ on them with gift ideas. We invite our families to choose an ornament (or two) to help Momentum support these families. We ask that gifts are returned, wrapped with the paper ornaments attached to them no later than Friday, December 16th. Please stop in the office if you have any questions!
