Welcome!  We are delighted you are inquiring about Momentum Early Learning as a child care provider for your children.

Momentum Early Learning is The New Standard In Child Care. Why?  Because at Momentum, we set a higher standard of excellence in everything we do compared to many other child care providers.  We are privately owned and ensure the best for your children and our staff while providing an open, friendly and nurturing culture.

Our center opened September 1, 2009. The owner, Mary Ellen Bowers, felt the community needed a child care center with higher standards than the norm.  It was our goal to create a child care center that offered a warm, inviting environment where children were happy and parents were at ease knowing their children were getting the best care and the best preparation for their future, in school and out.   Children at Momentum Early Learning learn through creative play and structured daily schedules while learning strong values such as respect, empathy, responsibility and kindness.

At Momentum, we also provide the parent’s a glimpse into their children’s day through the use of today’s computer web technology.  Last but not least, we emphasize CLEANLINESS and SECURITY in our facility.   We sanitize and clean everything daily to maintain a healthy environment for our children.  Secure key FOBs are used by parents for access to the locked facility.  A Visitor Security Sign-In Sheet is used for all visitors, showing an I.D. prior to access to the facility.

Momentum Early Learning was professionally designed from the very beginning.  Every detail was carefully selected for the center including security, web-cam technology, a 6000 sq. ft. playground, rounded-corner furniture for safety, quality and nutritious food and most importantly, nurturing and dedicated teachers.

Our Director and Administrator, Julie McDonald comes to us with 8 years of experience working with children, 3 of those years were as a Center Director of a large corporate child care company.  Much of Julie’s experience with children comes from working with children with Autism, mental health disabilities and behavioral issues.  Julie is a great resource for our Teachers and families.  Kathy Comella, our Assistant Director, has 15 years of child care and educational credentials and is well suited to direct the Momentum Early Learning operation along with Tracy.  Most of our teaching staff holds an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development with most very qualified through years of practical experience.
