Ms. Julie

 Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degrees in both Psychology and Human Development

Certifications: ECI, ECII, SIDS, Shaken Baby Syndrome, CPR/First Aid

Experience working with children:  I was a Center Director for three years before coming to Momentum.  I also have been an Assistant Director and a Lead Teacher for a Two’s classroom. I have previously worked as a Case Manager for children with mental health disabilities and a Line Therapist for children with Autism.

What do you like about the age group you are working with?

I like that every day is different, it keeps me on my toes!

Why are you working here at Momentum?

Momentum is a high quality school.  I want to keep that quality and build on it, making each family’s experience with us a great one.

Assistant Director

Ms. Cathy

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education (Birth – 3rd grade).

Certifications:  CPR, AED & First Aid, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Child Abuse

Experience working with children: I have over 6 years of experience working with children of all ages.  I have also babysat for many families and take an active part in raising my niece.

What do you like about the age group you are working with?

I love working with all age groups. There are many unique characteristics of each age group that makes children special.  Each one also has their own specific milestone you can’t wait to see the children achieve.  In the end, it’s the smile on their face that lets you know you helped teach them something and made a difference in their lives.

Why are you working here at Momentum?

I am working at Momentum because I want to help make a difference in the life of a child.  I was rently promoted to the Assistant Director position and I can’t express how grateful I am to be working with such an amazing staff.

Outside Interests:

  • I love to dance.  I have been line dancing amongst other types of dance since I was eight years old.
  • I perform at the Bristol Renaissance Faire since 2001
  • I love to spend time with family and friends
  • Watching movies, reading, and sewing
