Our Philosophy – Making Learning Fun
Momentum Early Learning encourages integrative and creative play to help children develop the skills needed for success, both in and out of the classroom.
One of the most important things we can do for children is to encourage them to build a genuine love for learning. As parents, you can help us do just that – by collaborating with our teachers. You know what works best for your child when it comes to learning and development.
From the moment your child first walks through our door, they enter a world of exploration and creativity. Our experienced teachers will nurture your child toward positive cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development.

Our Teachers – Opening Doors to Discovery
Your child will enjoy learning from our fun, friendly, and educated staff. Our teachers dedicate themselves to helping each child reach their greatest potential by adapting their approach to suit each child’s unique needs. They turn every day into an opportunity for exploration and discovery.
All of our teachers have received comprehensive child development training and certification, in addition to specialized training in infant and toddler, preschool, and school-age children (depending on their role at Momentum).
Our teacher’s qualifications well exceed the State’s requirements. Most of our lead teachers have a Bachelor’s degree and our Assistant Teachers have at least an Associate’s degree. Continuing education is required.
Our three & four year old teachers are certified by the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and are qualified to teach in the local school districts. They understand what needs to be done to prepare children for elementary school.
Our Facility – Setting the Stage for Learning
Our innovative floor plan was designed specifically for the purpose of early learning. Large windows; warm, inviting colors; and spacious rooms help children feel welcome and eager to learn. Each classroom features age-appropriate educational materials, books, and supplies that make learning fun. Our fenced-in private 6,000-square-foot playground – with brand-new outdoor playground equipment – adds to the fun. All of which will add to your child’s excitement and desire to make learning an adventure!
Child-to-teacher ratios are based on state regulations. In Wisconsin there is:
- One teacher for every four children under the age of 2 years
- One teacher for every six children from age 2 to 2.5 years
- One teacher for every eight children from age 2.5 to 3 years
- One teacher for every 10 children from age 3 to 4 years
- One teacher for every 13 children from age 4 to 5 years
- One teacher for every 17 children from age 5 to 6 years
- One teacher for every 18 children from age 6 up to 12
Momentum Early Learning classroom group sizes are also based on state regulations and room size. The infant and toddler rooms allow a maximum number of eight children per room, the 2-year-old room allows a maximum of 12 children, the 3-year-old room allows a maximum of 20 children, the 4-year-old room allows a maximum of 24 children, and the school-age room allows a maximum of 24 children. Many of our classrooms exceed the minimum square foot requirements set by the state.
Cleanliness – Healthy Means Happy
We take pride in providing a clean environment for your children. Each room receives a thorough cleaning every night. Toys and learning materials are sanitized daily. Fewer germs mean fewer sicknesses and that makes for better overall health of each child. A healthy child is a happy child!
Hours – Convenience Counts
Momentum Early Learning is open Monday through Friday, 6AM-6PM. Our flex scheduling allows you the convenience of choosing which days are best for your child to attend Momentum Early Learning each week. Secure Web Cams
As a parent, you’ll have access to the secure Web cam in your child’s room so you can check in throughout the day whenever you like to see the smile on your child’s face and have confidence in your child’s teacher.
Serious About Safety
Your child’s safety is one of our top priorities. Our top-of-the-line security system will keep children safe and secure. Feel free to contact us for additional specific information on the safety measures we’ve installed at Momentum Early Learning. Each parent is assigned a personal Key FOB for access thru securely locked doors.
Playground
Our fenced-in private 6,000 square ft playground – with brand-new outdoor playground equipment and a variety of play surfaces. This will add to your child’s excitement and desire to make learning an adventure!
Enrichment Classes
Computer – Learn basic computer skills, how to turn the computer on & off, as well as becoming familar with the mouse and keyboard. Use age-appropriate educational software programs and fun games which teach basic math and language skills.
Spanish – Listening and speaking basic Spanish songs and vocabulary (colors, numbers, animals, family, home, weather and food). Learn Spanish culture.
Store Time – Special readings with story discussions, puppets and finger plays.
Music - Sing and play rhythm instruments. Learn age-appropriate songs.
Creative Movement – Demonstrate imagination and creativity through music and dance. Following directions and learning simple games, hopping, running, galloping, jumping etc.
Transportation
Our Momentum mini-bus can pick up or drop off your child at school. We serve the Sussex-Hamilton, Arrowhead Union and Pewaukee school districts and can assure your child’s safety with the use of safety belts.
